LUSH Haircare Products
In principle, I try to avoid going into LUSH unless I am specifically looking for something simply because it’s very difficult for me to leave without buying anything. Fellow LUSHies will probably understand.
This was a purchase that I neither intended to make, nor needed to buy. But one whiff of this and I knew I just had to try it out.
It smelled of sweet cocoa goodness, and my inner chocoholic just couldn’t resist.
The appearance is quite similar to that of Gouda cheese, but luckily the smell is not.
Avocado Co-Wash is a bit of a faffy product as it melts easily. The best way to use this is to not store it in the bathroom, where the steam from the shower could melt it, and slice off as much as you need before you hop in.
I always applied it to damp ends and left it for 10 minutes or so before washing my hair.
And, I have to admit, in spite of the faff that went in to using it, it really left my hair smelling great – like lemon meringue pie (after the cocoa notes had dissipated) – and super soft.
I’d put this one down as worth trying, although I know it’s one of the more expensive LUSH products and this can put people off. It would also not be a great product to travel with, especially in warmer more humid climes.
Even though I really liked it, I’ll most likely be trying other products out before repurchasing this again.
What are your favourite LUSH hair products? I’d love to know. I’ll be writing a review on my favourite shampoo of the moment (also a LUSH product) very soon.
Hope you are having a beautiful day wherever you are.
