A Punny Eye Cream
I have a quick review on Soap & Glory’s Make Yourself Youthful Rejuvenating Eye Cream today.
Any product with the word “rejuvenating” in it I am willing to try. Self-care is an investment after all (or so I tell myself, heheh).
You may know by now that I also love trying out different eye creams, though I tend to gravitate back to my Kiehl’s Avocado Eye Cream every now and then.
What I Like About the Product
I find it hydrates well enough and absorbs nicely. I like it better than the Clinique All About Eyes, Aveda and Body Shop eye creams for sure.
It has zero scent to it and contains no fragrance in the ingredients, and hasn’t made my skin react in any negative way.
The 14ml pot of product costs GBP 14.00 at Boots, which makes it more affordable than some other eye creams, although it is by no means the cheapest. My beloved Kiehl’s Avocado Eye Cream costs GBP 20.00 in comparison.
The pot is made of a light plastic, so it is easy to carry around and you don’t have to worry about it breaking if you drop it. Butterfingers people can relax around this product.
What I Don’t Like About the Product
Honestly? There’s nothing I don’t like about it! That might sound like a cop out but it’s true. There is nothing about it that is a deal breaker for me and I would most likely repurchase this again if I wasn’t using my favourite Kiehl’s eye cream or trying something new.
Except that they don’t sell Soap & Glory products here in Japan.
I guess that’s what I don’t like about it – it’s not widely available around the world.
About the Product
The product description claims it is:
“An eye cream so powerful it’s like ‘face yoga’ in a jar.
With Soap & Glory’s clinically proven SUPER-YOUTH™P3000 complex, oxygen boosting ENERGINSENG™, INSTANT SWIFTLIFT™ effect technology, undereye-brightening LIGHTSCRAMBLE LUMINOSPHERES™, plus PUFFEASE-360™ and cool cucumber juice – it’s an all-point attack on fine lines, dark circles, puffiness, pigmentation and tired eyes.
- Fights dark circles & undereye puff
- Instantly rejuvenating
- Smoothes away fine lines & wrinkles
- Tones, firms & instantly tightens
- Flaw-minimising & radiance boosting
- Brightens & illuminates”
Now I don’t know if it delivers all of that, but it’s a nice eye cream and I like it and would recommend it to anyone looking to try something new or different.
Have you tried this eye cream before? I’d love to know how you got on with it.
And again, I’m always open to product suggestions, being the beauty junkie that I am.
Have a beautiful day darlings!
