Highlight Like a Boss
Albatross was my very first highlighter.
Before all of the Anastasia Beverly Hills madness, before Hourglass was on my radar, and well before the Becca x Jaclyn Hill collabs, NARS was the go to for that highly sought after glow.
Albatross was the one powder highlighter that all the beauty bloggers raved about, but over time Miss Liberty, New Order and Satellite of Love were added.
Multiple cream stick illuminators soon showed up, as well as liquid cream versions.
I’m an Orgasm fangirl so one day my dream is to own the Orgasm Collection or even better, the NARSissist #Jetsetter Orgasm Face Set exclusive to World Duty Free.
If you want brownie points from a special makeup junkie in you life, get them this when you are at the airport. They will love you FOREVER because it is TO DIE FOR!
My Thoughts on Albatross
This highlighter is gold toned with shimmer.
It is gorgeous, there is no other word for it.
I love to use it especially on the tops of my cheekbones, but it works well on the brow bone, the Cupid’s bow, bridge of the nose, inner corner of the eyes – everywhere you would highlight basically.
The only cons I can think of might be the price, although this stuff lasts for absolutely ages (I’m nowhere near hitting the pan) so it’s excellent value for money, and the packaging, which attracts fingerprints, glitter and other smears. Also, if you prefer cream or liquid highlighters then this one is not for you.
If you can, visit a NARS counter and have the retail assistants put it on you to see if you like it.
My guess is you will love it as much as I do!
Which NARS products do you swear by?
I am looking to branch out beyond their blushers, which I adore, and would love recommendations. Go ahead and enable me!
