I was super psyched to receive this one in the post, as A Degree Fahrenheit is definitely a brand I’ve come across before in magazines over here.
By Friday, I felt like I was old hat at the shows. I just strutted in brandishing my invite, and got a seat for a change – and a jolly good thing too, since it was 35 minutes behind schedule. Honestly, it would be a dream come true to be a fly on the wall backstage at these things. But the thing that made this the best show ever was the free makeup! A bag of Maybelline goodies, including BB cream, eyeliner, blusher, eyeshadow, a foundation sample, and a Baby Lips lip balm. I felt sheer joy when I saw the products we’d all received, and I’m sure sunbeams were streaming from my face.
The show itself was beautiful, and I saw some dresses that I would love to have in my wardrobe if I could actually afford them. The muffs; the belted, cinched waists; and the capes – I just loved it all! It was so chic and glamorous. The music was lovely as well, and set a great ambience.
At the end the designer Yu Amatsu came onto the runway to take his bow in a trendy trench coat, and was later bombarded with questions from the fashion press. I thought he was really cool – かっこい, to use the Japanese term. Please click here to see his work in all its glory.
Hope you are having a lovely, lovely week so far gorgeous people!
